The Jetty Road in Glenelg currently undergoes a redevelopment project, and the same project will also cover the upgrades of Chapel Street and Hindmarsh Lane. The total project is estimated at $3.6 million. Due to the development and construction projects, certain parts of these lanes, streets, and roads are closed to traffic and pedestrians. The aim is to make these venues tourist-friendly and take them up to the level of scenic tourist attractions soon.
With several venues for amazing accommodation in Glenelg including properties such as Oaks Glenelg Plaza Pier Suites, this destination was popular among tourists from all over the world. These development projects aim to improve the magnetic effect this destination has in terms of tourism and the officials believe that their aim will be achieved once this development project is completed.
