Cambodia’s Airports Gain More Traffic – The Annual Increase in Foot Traffic

Operating 3 of the major airports in Cambodia, the VINCI Airports have stated that the airports saw about 3 million passengers in the first quarter of the year 2018 alone. The passenger footfall rate at Phnom Penh airport has increased by a staggering 34.5% in the past year and the airport in the capital saw about 1.4 million passengers. With luxury hotels in Siem Reap the likes of Anantara Angkor Resort and more popping up every now and then, it is no shock that the visitor traffic has increased considerably over the past years. The increase is also due to the newer services provided by the Shenzhen, Vietjet, and Malindo Airlines.
