Celebrating the Mid Autumn Festival in Vietnam – A Time for Family Fun

One of the country’s main holidays, the annual Mid Autumn Festival in Vietnam will take place next month. Locally known as “Tết Trung Thu”, this important cultural festival was originally celebrated to mark the harvest. As per the Chinese calendar, it is held on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month; this year it falls on 13th September and will feature festivities in different parts of the country.
