Providing a chance for golfers to play at some of the region’s best courses, the Chiang Mai Amateur Golf Week 2014 took place from 25th October to the 1st of November. This competition takes place at scenic courses in Chiang Mai, Thailand and is the first amateur golf tournament series in Asia that gives golfers (both men & women) a chance to compete despite any playing handicaps they possess.
Golfers had a chance to play at two main courses; designed by Schmidt-Curley, the 18 hole (par 72) Chiang Mai Highlands Golf Club which is amongst the most popular courses and the 18 hole (par 72) Alpine Golf Resort Chiang Mai which was designed by Ron M Garl and set amidst breathtaking natural landscapes. Golfing enthusiasts planning to stay on and enjoy the region’s other courses can consider finding accommodation at a Chiang Mai resort such as Anantara Chiang Mai Resort & Spa which is within easy reach of such golfing venues.
