Huang Yuequn, a Chinese entrepreneur from Xiamen, has expressed interest in investing in Laos. Citing factors such as lower labour and land costs and abundant hydropower resources, he underscores the importance of the current health and stability of China-Laos relations. Huang eagerly anticipates improved access to transportation infrastructure and streamlined customs clearance processes in Laos, facilitating the smooth movement of China’s advanced management and technical personnel to the region. The China-Laos Railway continues to play a pivotal role in enhancing connectivity and fostering economic development in the region. This can also improve tourism by making Laos more accessible to Chinese tourists. Visitors will easily be able to embark on that dream Luang Prabang cruise through agents like Mekong Kingdoms.
