China to recognise Western shots for its vaccine passports, as it looks forward to reopening the country – Seeking to open to international travellers

China is seeking to accept vaccine passports from western countries as well as they do their best to open for international travel once again. The country is now accepting vaccination reports from the US as travellers apply for visiting China.

It was stated by the Chinese Embassy in Washington on an online notice that Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech and Johnson & Johnson are allowed to be submitted for a health application for travelling to China. In the beginning, China would only accept those who had taken the local vaccine, which put countries that had no way of obtaining it into a corner. This new acceptance for the western vaccines will see china open up with Xi ‘ An hotels the likes of Grand Park Xian preparing to welcome international guests from near and far.
