Chinese Lantern Festival

The festival is celebrated on the 15th day of the first month of the traditional Chinese lunisolar calendar, which falls on the 5th of March.

In Chinese tradition, on the night of the Lantern Festival, Yuanxiao is eaten together with family members while appreciating the full moon.
