Yaowaraj which is the Chinatown area of the Thai capital celebrates the Chinese New Year with all typical traditional festivities and is set to light up the city in early 2015 on a date set according to the Chinese Lunar Calendar. Travellers in search of Bangkok city hotels that offer easy access to Bangkok’s Chinatown can consider staying at Atrium Bangkok.

Among the festivities visitors can look forward to seeing during this time include dragon dancers, lavish banquets, parades, acrobatics, the lighting of firecrackers & fireworks and the decorating of streets and shops. During this period one can also take advantage of a variety of special promotions and sales that take place across the city.
