Travellers who visited Phuket during the month of February had the opportunity to witness the Chinese New Year celebrations in Phuket. The New Year festival was celebrated in grand scale on the 19th February 2015 and was preceded by Phuket old town festival which was held on the 26th to 28th February.
The event was organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand Phuket office and the celebrations took place on the public park on Phuket Road. If you are traveller planning a trip to the city next year you could consider choosing Phuket luxury accommodation such as the renowned Point Yamu by COMO Phuket that lies in the vicinity of the public park where the celebrations will be held.
