Chinese New Year is settled to dazzle Singapore – Celebrating New Beginnings

Celebrated with much pomp and pageantry, the Chinese New Year is an important cultural event that takes place not just in China, but in cities around the world which are home to a Chinese community such as Singapore.

Chinese New Year will take place in January or February in Singapore. Among the festivities visitors can look forward to seeing during this time include the official opening and light up ceremony, festive street bazaar, street light up, international lion dance competition, nightly stage shows, Chinatown Chinese New Year countdown party and much more which is set to light up the city.
