Colours Holi Colour Festival – Celebrating Diversity

Colours in Fort second edition, a festival of colours, art and music that brings people together in the spirit of unity was held at the Galle football grounds recently. The Holi festival is a sacred cultural event where people get together in one spirit to let go of past errors, forgive old debts, reconcile and begin life anew with fresh hopes and aspirations for peace and togetherness. Traditionally, Holi, the festival of colours and love symbolizes the attempt to bridge the gap between different segments of societies.

The event attracted hundreds of like-minded people, all dressed in white to celebrate humankind’s potential for love and unity amidst a line-up of music, dancing and beautiful colours. The festival mirrored the vibrant environs that many South Coast boutique hotels in Sri Lanka such as the contemporary properties of Mosvold Hotels offer to guests from around the globe.
