Sri Lanka’s Virtual Wildlife Adventure Gains Popularity Among International Travellers
The live-streaming of wild safari adventures, a concept which was first brought forward by Sri Lanka Tourism, elicited incredible acclaim and worldwide acknowledgement, with over 100,000 impressions created on social media from the first episodes covering Kaudulla and Minneriya National Parks. They weren’t only viewed by potential travellers residing abroad but also by domestic travellers as well; animal enthusiasts in Sri Lanka can also look forward to enjoying a virtual safari during their stay at possibly the best hotel Kandy has to offer, such as Hotel Topaz.
This was also broadcast outside social media platforms such as Apple TV, Roku TV, and even Periscope so that a larger international audience had access to these majestic creatures that dwell within the lush green jungles of Sri Lanka – a paradisiacal island on the Indian Ocean.
