On the New Years Eve, a lot of amazing attractions and events took place around Khon Kaen which is one of the most popular cities in Thailand. The city also being a popular tourist destination, attracted thousands of visitors this year. Reports state that tourists who were stationed at resort properties the likes of AVANI Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Centre also participated in the events with much enthusiasm. One of the most significant attractions in the event was the “Countdown to 2019”. Once the countdown finished, colourful fireworks flew to the skies putting up a wonderful show which delighted the audiences. A number of food stalls offering amazing street food were also scattered across the streets of Khon Kaen during the New Years Eve and the New Year day. If you had missed the event don’t worry!
