Covid-19 South Australia Travel Restrictions and Recovery

Preventive Measures Undertaken

The travel restrictions to South Australia eased on August 5th this year, welcoming visitors from the North, West territories, Queensland, and Tasmania. Although travellers from New South Wales and Canberra are permitted entry, they were asked to self-quarantine for 14 days from arrival and get tested for COVID-19. Many Glenelg hotels the likes of Oaks Glenelg Liberty Suites offer self-isolation facilities for anyone who develops symptoms during their stay. However, no one from Victoria, even if it’s a South Australia resident, are allowed to tread the South Australian waters, unless they are classified as essential travellers.

Even though the travel ban is lifted for some travellers, they are required to possess the completed Online Cross Border Travel Pre-Approval Registration Form at all times.
