COVID-19 Travel Updates and Safety Information on Brisbane Airport

Easing of Travel Restrictions

With effect from 5 pm on 16th December 2020, the Border Restrictions Direction in Queensland was revoked and travellers coming from any other Australian state or territory were free to enter without a border pass. Brisbane Airport has introduced a range of measures creating a conducive environment to stay safe from COVID-19. And visitors from various states and territories flew into Brisbane via its airport to spend their vacations at some of the best Brisbane hotels the likes of Oaks Brisbane on Margaret Suites.

The easing of travel restrictions was well-received along with Brisbane Airport’s implementation of the COVIDSafe plan, which included intensified cleaning schedules across terminals, transfer shuttles plus all customer touchpoints. Moreover, protective screens at check-in desks and sanitisation facilities at all entrances contributed to set up a clean and safe environment for all visitors.
