Crafts Bangkok 2018 – It’s all about creativity and craftsmanship

Thailand has long enjoyed a fabulous reputation for its handicrafts. Crafts Bangkok 2018 was a four-day event which showcased the unique handicrafts industry of Thailand. The event took place from 29th March 2018 to 1st April 2018 at BITEC Bangkok. It was a unique platform to exchange ideas about handicrafts with visitors from abroad and to commercialize Thai handicraft products at an international level. Attending the event, Thailand’s Commerce Minister, Chutima Bunyapraphasara emphasized the importance of broadening the Thai handicraft industry due to the increased international demand for Thai handmade products. Many a luxury hotel in Bangkok including the likes of Emporium Suites by Chatrium were quite busy during the event. The Crafts Bangkok 2018 concluded successfully building awareness of Thai handicrafts to gather more knowledge about arts and crafts among locals and international craftsmen.
