According to the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), they will soon facilitate cross-border travel between Singapore and Malaysia with the mutual agreement of both parties. The discussions have been happening about the when and where to have COVID -19 screenings and also about the mandatory 2-week quarantine period.

However, in terms of the Singapore tourism industry, the country is getting a few short term travelellers who only come for business/ official visits. Clarke Quay hotels in Singapore the likes of Park Hotel Clarke Quay are offering accommodation facilities for them adhering to health and safety protocols issued by the WHO and the government. When the travel restrictions are lifted, they hope that more travellers will arrive in the country with much confidence.
