Culinary Art Food Expo 2023 – “From the Factory to the Table”
Sri Lanka’s most acclaimed food expo, Culinary Art Food Expo took place from the 9th to 11th of June 2023 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall. The exhibition covered aspects of food products and services from the production to the consumer stage while also giving focus to the hospitality industry. The event featured a competition where more than 2000 chefs from across the island competed for the Culinary Excellence award. Many exhibitors, investors, and buyers were seen attending the iconic event this year.
The expo was held for the 18th consecutive time and became a great platform to exchange ideas and the latest technology in hospitality, food and beverages. Several international attendees later were seen exploring the best hotels and resorts around Colombo, Down South, Negombo, and other destinations. Heritance Negombo was one such Negombo beach hotel they would have most likely chosen for accommodation.
