As China celebrated their 70th anniversary of the founding of The People’s Republic of China on the 16th of September 2019, Mozambique too joined in the festivities at Maputo. This is said to have increased the competitiveness of Mozambican culture and creative products when it comes to the international market.
The above was stated by the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Mozambique, Domingos Artur on the day of the big event. he also stated that China came to their aid against colonial rule, also, that this brought about the opportunity for people to share cultural and historical experiences. With Mozambique’ s rich culture, tourism too is flourishing, and Mozambique resorts the likes of Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort are seeing increased bookings.
