Starting from the 1st of July 2016, these Agencies will act as a liaison between the MMPRC in executing the island nation’s PR plan in the markets that have been targeted for now. The purpose behind allocating these PR Agencies is to improve the image of this tourist hotspot in the eyes of those looking for a luxury holiday. Maldives hopes to increase the number of incoming international travelers to the island to grow its tourism industry.
