“Dhekunun Uthurah” Kitesurf event concludes –fun, adventure and serving a good cause

Across from southernmost island to the northernmost island of the Maldives, a kitesurfing event was held on the 03^rd of July 2019 with the participation of world-renowned champions and several other local experts. The event was named “Dhekunun Uthurah” and in this event, popular local kite surfers Simbe, Hambe, and Delio joined the world champion Youri Zoon to travel across the Maldives for kitesurfing for a period of one whole month.

The sports event also had the participation of the local community especially for the beach cleaning segment that was held as a part of this event and several Maldives beach resort owners and employees also took part in this worthy cause. This was also a good opportunity for the leisure travelers at properties the likes of The Residence Maldives by Cenizaro to witness an international level kitesurfing event with experts in the field performing in it.
