Dirty Dancing, The Classic Story on Stage – Having the Time of Your Life

When you hear the song “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” chances are the gripping ending of the 1987 hit film “Dirty Dancing” pops into your head. Bringing all the thrills, romance and of course fantastic singing and dancing to life, the stage version of this modern classic is on tour in Australia with the Melbourne leg of the tour recently concluding at the Princess Theatre. Those wishing to catch other popular shows at this venue and in search of nearby Melbourne CBD accommodation can consider options such as Oaks on Lonsdale.

Giving audiences a chance to reminisce all their favourite scenes from the movie, “Dirty Dancing, The Classic Story on Stage” is faithful to the screenplay. It features Kurt Phelan as Johnny Castle in the role made famous by Patrick Swayze and Kirby Burgess who is the female lead Frances ‘Baby’ Houseman, originally played by Jennifer Grey. The stage version is currently on tour in Brisbane and will head to Perth where it will be on show from 2nd August.
