Discovering New Lost Cities in Cambodian Jungles

The Years-Long Research has not Gone in Vain

After years of long experiments, excavations, and researches, scientists have recently been able to rediscover an ancient city of the Khmer Empire that had been hidden amidst the lush jungles in Cambodia. Historians call this city as the ‘Mahendraparvatha’ and although they had known about the existence of this city for over decades, they had insufficient archaeological evidence to prove their fact to the world.

Although this well-structured city has not survived for long as per the stories from history, the sophistication that it serves is admirable, and visitors will soon be able to explore this fact once this site is opened to the public in the near future. This will surely be one of the top attractions in Cambodia and every boutique hotel in Siem Reap including properties the likes of Anantara Angkor Resort will be benefited from this discovery which will attract many local as well as foreign tourists who love exploring new destinations.
