Discussions Pertaining to $1 Billion Worth of Contracts at TTM 2017 – Accelerating Performance

A platform that brought the travel trade community of Maldives together, the Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) was held from 12th to 13th of July 2017. Connecting the domestic travel trade industry with the global network of agents on an annual basis, the TTM welcomed many local and international travel professionals and other industry giants. The tourism sector in the country is one that is ever growing with many Maldives luxury resort options including the likes of COMO Maalifushi, Maldives drawing more and more visitors each year. A significant event in the Maldivian travel trade industry looking to tap this potential, the TTM was held at Dharubaaruge. The official website of TTM recently announced that more than 3000 scheduled meetings and over 1 billion US Dollars worth of business contracts have been talked about and discussed during the TTM. The event featured the versatile Connect software that scheduled important personal meetings with prominent figures in the industry. The TTM aims to help accelerate the progress of the tourism sector in reaching its target of 2 million tourist visits with over USD 3.5 billion in revenue.
