Diving in the Dark at Baros Maldives

Maldives is renowned for its beautiful turquoise seas which have made diving in Maldives an activity you cannot miss. But now Baros Maldives have taken this popular leisure activity to a whole new level with night snorkeling! During the night time the seas turn into a whole new different world with the creatures of the night coming out to prey giving you the chance to see night time predators such as the octopus, squirrelfish and the ravishingly decorated lionfish. Baros Maldives’s night time snorkeling adventure also gives you the wonderful opportunity to witness the absolutely ethereal phenomenon when bioluminescent plankton start emitting its own light to produce hundreds of little balls of light that appear suddenly, like magic, enveloping you in its glory. The Diving On The Dark Side adventure is open to all guests at Baros Maldives who are experienced snorkelers and who and have been out on the house reef during daylight.
