Set to be celebrated from December 27 to January 4, Colours of Doi Tung” Festival will feature a colourful bazaar, where the region’s six ethnic groups will showcase their unique lifestyles and cultural aspects. Their performances will demonstrate their journey to becoming proud farmers of vegetables, fruits and coffee. The bazaar is expected to involve around 80 ethnic people and the festival will offer the rare opportunity of seeing Chinese, Lua, Tai Lue, Akha and Shan clad in their traditional attire. Visitors will also get the chance to buy various handicrafts, textiles, agricultural produce and authentic foods.
