Dnata and Mauritius Tourism partner to attract UAE travellers in 2024: Dubai-Based Travel Service Slated to Spearhead the Move

Dubai-based travel giant Dnata has joined forces with the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) to lure more UAE holidaymakers to the idyllic island nation in 2024. Dnata will serve as the official sales, marketing, and PR representative for Mauritius Tourism in the UAE, providing localized booking support and highlighting the destination’s diverse offerings beyond its famed beaches.

This strategic partnership aims to capitalize on the growing popularity of Mauritius among UAE travellers, with a projected increase in tourist arrivals for 2024. The nation has seen an increase of over 60% in tourists from the UAE since 2015 alone, with larger resorts and high-end hotels capitalising on this growth. Internationally acclaimed chains have established properties on the island, with newer spots competing with some of the best luxury hotels in Mauritius, including older 5-star establishments such as The Residence Mauritius.
