Domestic Tourism Picks Up in Wuhan

City Receives a Much-Needed Boost

As reported in August this year in the online edition of the South China Morning Post, the number of Chinese visitors to attractions in Wuhan has picked up. Amongst the hotspots which saw the most number of visitors was the popular Yellow Crane Tower within easy reach of properties like Somerset Zhuankou Wuhan. For those looking to be based in Wuhan, apartments for rent can be found close to such key sites as well.

As with many destinations across the world, the tourism industry here was hard-hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, it is showing signs of recovery with the spread of the virus under control. One of the reasons for the surge in domestic visitors is that the usual entrance fees to quite a few attractions in the Hubei province have been done away with. Other places that drew visitors included the Crape Myrtle Garden, Wuhan Garden Expo Park and Mulan Great Lake.
