Celebrated on the 5th day of the fifth lunar month the Dragon Boat Festival, is an annual event taking place in the Southern region of China. This year the festival took place on the 20th of June. The main symbol of the totem as the name suggests is– a dragon. And the main focus of the celebrations is eating zongzi- sticky rice which is wrapped in bamboo leaves.
