Dubai Airshow 2021 Offers Optimistic Output – Major Deals Made by Aircraft Manufacturers

Last year the Dubai Airshow was successfully held from 14th to 18th November; new freighters were showcased, while global aircraft manufacturers were able to meet customers in person and secure deals that offered optimistic signs to the aviation industry hard hit by the pandemic. The event took place at the special Dubai Airshow Site that could be reached for those staying at a Palm Jumeirah hotel including the likes of Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort. This was the first major aerospace exhibition in the world in two years and those attending had plenty to see.

Some of the highlights included the biggest passenger jet in the world, the huge 777X by Boeing and the Sukhoi Su-75 Checkmate which was a prototype of a new Russian warplane. Airbus was amongst those who made noteworthy deals at the Dubai Airshow 2021, while the Ministry of Defence of the UAE also announced Dh22.5bn worth of deals during the event.
