Tourism, investment, and population growth keep Dubai ahead of global trends
Dubai’s economy is expected to grow by 4.5% in 2026, matching its projected performance in 2025 and continuing to outpace global averages, according to the latest outlook from Emirates NBD. The forecast points to steady contributions from both government-led projects and private sector activity, alongside rising visitor numbers and consumer spending.
Tourism remains a central driver, supported by expanding air links, major international events, and continued growth in hospitality supply. Dubai-based hospitality brand Staycae reflects this momentum, as rising visitor demand fuels interest in serviced stays, short-term residences, and some of the best hotel apartments in Dubai, strengthening the city’s appeal to both leisure and business travellers.
Population growth is reinforcing demand across housing, healthcare, education, and transport, while controlled inflation and improving financing conditions are expected to encourage further investment. With infrastructure spending and long-term urban development plans firmly in place, Dubai is positioned to sustain robust economic performance into 2026.
