The Dubai International Airport, while successfully coping up with high traffic volumes in 2017, continued its position as the world’s number one airport for the fourth consecutive year in 2018. It was able to maintain momentum with innovative services, designs and expansion plans on par with the growing aviation network. Being one of the more luxurious airports in the world comprising of modern business centres, health facilities and a gym, it has looked forward to further expanding its services. The city has also focused on accommodating international passengers with luxury properties like DUKES DUBAI which is a Palm Jumeirah hotel in Dubai within easy reach of the airport and city’s major attractions. Despite fluctuations in cargo volumes in 2017, DXB was able to succeed in high traffic volumes while giving maximum satisfaction to passengers. ‘DXB plus programme 2018’ includes improvements and new technology to widen airport’s annual capacity to 118 million passengers.
