Dubai may exceed pre-pandemic international tourist numbers in 2023

Tourism in Dubai is on the rise and it is predicted by Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) that the number of tourist arrivals for the year will finally exceed pre-pandemic levels. As per the stats by the DET, Dubai saw 3.1 million visitors in the first 2 months of 2023. This is a 50% increase in arrivals compared to last year. Emirates NBD mentioned that the strong start this year is sure to lead to numbers that will break the 16.7 million reached back in 2019.
