Dubai Ranked World’s Second Most Attractive City – A Dynamic Emirate with Much to Offer

According to Euromonitor International’s Top 100 City Destinations Index 2022, Dubai was ranked as the world’s second most attractive city destination for tourism. This was highlighted on the Khaleej Times news website on 15th December 2022 which further revealed that the ranking was based on six pillars: tourism performance, business and economic performance, tourism policy and attractiveness, sustainability, tourism infrastructure and health and safety. Paris, the capital of France, retained the first position, while Dubai outranked other popular cities like New York, Rome, Amsterdam, London and Madrid which were in the top ten.

Euromonitor also found that for a second straight year, Dubai was the top city destination in the Middle East and Africa. This cosmopolitan emirate has shown remarkable resilience since the pandemic with the travel and tourism sectors getting back on track following the easing of COVID-19-related restrictions. 2023 is expected to be an even better year for tourism with the arrival of more travellers who can look to stay at 4-star hotels in Dubai which offer safe accommodation too. Such properties like Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai Hotel cater to business and leisure alike while providing easy access to the best of this dynamic destination.
