Dubai Shopping Festival Draws to a Close – Another Memorable Retail Extravaganza

Another amazing season of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) ended this month offering not just retail therapy but glamorous entertainment, foodie discoveries, super deals and much more. Launched on 8th December 2023, the 29th edition of this annual event ran till 14th January 2024 and featured prize draws, concerts, and pop-up markets as well. Over 850 brands participated in this shopping festival along with more than 100 malls such as the themed Ibn Battuta Mall next to Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai Hotel. From shopping and dining to watching movies, bowling, and playing fun games, things to do in Ibn Battuta Mall are on offer the whole year round, making it an ideal place to visit.

Other highlights during the Dubai Shopping Festival included 45 concerts that took place during this time featuring live performances by the likes of Chris Brown, Sean Paul, Ali Zafar and Kadim Al Sahir. Etisalat MOTB which is a popular outdoor market, a prize of AED1 million in cash for one lucky winner, daily fireworks and the DSF Drones Show which utilised 1,500 drones were amongst the other special aspects of the festival.
