Dubai’s Newest Religious Tourism Initiative – A Floating Mosque, Quranic Park, and Eid Market Unveiled

The Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai (IACAD) unveiled its ambitious Religious Tourism Project during a press conference at the department’s headquarters on Thursday. The comprehensive initiative includes strategic plans, innovative programs, and impactful initiatives geared towards advancing Islamic tourism in the city.

With the objective of positioning Dubai as a global leader in Islamic and charitable tourism by 2025, the project aims to bolster the emirate’s allure for international visitors, both Muslim and non-Muslim. Ahmed Khalfan Al Mansouri, representing IACAD, highlighted the project’s potential to drive a three to four per cent increase in tourist numbers. The undertaking will spotlight Dubai’s most prominent religious attractions, reinforcing its status as a premier destination for residents, visitors, and tourists worldwide.
