Held from 30th to 31st January 2015, the EDEX Expo at Kandy provided prospective students and job seekers a chance to meet a wide cross section of local and foreign educational institutions as well as representatives from companies offering recruitment opportunities. The event was held at the Kandy City Centre (KCC) which is not only a shopping mall but a popular venue for such events. Visitors planning to catch such exhibitions and trade fairs at the KCC in the future can consider staying at bungalows in Kandy which are within easy reach of the venue such as Mountbatten Bungalow which belongs to Theme Resorts & Spas.
With over 370 stalls and more than 200 institutes and universities in attendance, the EDEX Expo in Kandy attracted in excess of 18,000 visitors during the course of the two days. Interested students were able to receive personal counselling and guidance regarding study opportunities, career pathways and scholarships from academic intuitions as well.
