Emirates Partners with Zambia Tourism – Destination Promotion Campaigns to Be Launched

Emirates, one of the flag carriers of the United Arab Emirates, entered a partnership with Zambia Tourism to help promote this African destination and increase arrivals. This took place at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai in May 2023; during this time, a memorandum of understanding was signed by Emirates’ Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for Africa, Badr Abbas, and the Zambia Tourism Authority’s Chief Executive Officer, Matongo Matamwandi.

The partnership will see both parties collaborating to help increase the visibility of Zambia within the extensive network of Emirates, while diverse marketing and advertising campaigns are also being considered. The country continues to be a popular holiday destination in southern Africa, home to key attractions like Victoria Falls near The Royal Livingstone Victoria Falls Zambia Hotel by Anantara; those based at such hotels in Livingstone, Zambia can also go on game drives at the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park for wildlife encounters and enjoy cultural discoveries too for truly enriching visits.
