Emirates signs MoUs – Boosting Tourism with Bahrain and Zambia

Two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed by Emirates to enhance tourism in Bahrain and Zambia. In Bahrain, Emirates will support the country’s four-year tourism strategy aimed at attracting 14.1 million tourists by 2026. The airline will explore opportunities to expand Bahrain’s appeal in key markets and promote it as a short weekend getaway for tourists from Israel and the UAE. The MoU with Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority was signed by Emirates’ Chief Commercial Officer and the Minister of Tourism and the Chairman of the Authority.

Emirates and Zambia Tourism will work together to increase visitor arrivals by leveraging Emirates’ global network in Zambia. Both parties will collaborate on initiatives to promote Zambia’s experiences and increase its visibility within the Emirates network. Hotels in Livingstone Zambia the likes of Royal Livingstone Hotel by Anantara are expecting more tourist arrivals soon with this arrangement. Emirates currently operates a daily service to Zambia with seven flights a week.
