Enjoy 2016 New Year Eve Celebrations in Phuket

As a part of celebrations for New Year’s Eve 2016, Phuket Island is organizing some of the biggest parties around this year at various locations around Phuket, where New Year revelers will be able to enjoy the lively extravaganza of traditional Asian festivities, including the Phuket New Year Lantern Festival.

Some of the more notable events taking place are in Patong beach and Phuket town. Patong beach holds a music festival performed on a massive floating stage, which is an impressive sight to see. Phuket Town holds a 3 night special event, the for Countdown Phuket Festival, from the 29th to the 31st of December, with concerts, singing contests, a “Light Wonderland” exhibit, aromatic food stalls and a fireworks show at midnight.
