European Tour Heads to Portugal – World’s Best Golfers at Play

One of the most prestigious events in the golfing calendar, The Portugal Masters attracts the best players in the world. It was held for the 11th consecutive year from the 21st to the 24th of September. This was initially played in October 2007 and the €3 million prize fund made it the richest golf tournament in Portugal. The high profile event was hosted at the spectacular Dom Pedro Victoria in Vilamoura Course in Algarve which offers a rich and diverse cultural experience for visitors. Attendees and players based themselves at Tivoli Marina Portimao Algarve Hotel, one of the many options for a hotel in Praia Da Rocha, located in close proximity to Dom Pedro Victoria and other attractions. The scenic view of Portugal is in fact admirable. The beaches and the nightlife should be checked out before you return as they are known to be extraordinary.
