Everyone can holiday in the Maldives now – An invitation from a paradise

In September 2020, the World Travel and Tourism Council declared the Maldives as a safe destination, and this cleared the doubts of many global travellers who had second thoughts on visiting the paradise island nation – the Maldives. Every Maldives luxury resort the likes of Atmosphere Kanifushi now welcomes international guests but they do adhere to strict health and safety measures imposed by the public health officials of the country.

While the Maldivian airport and the hotels have their set of precautionary measures set against COVID -19 risks, different airways also have implemented diverse strategies to stay protected. Qatar Airways has made it mandatory for the travellers to present a negative PCR test at check-in, and they also issue masks and face shields for the passengers at the gate to ensure safety.
