The streets of Colombo recently witnessed a spectacular sight as exotic cars and a motor parade took over the streets for the Exotic Cars Motor Parade 2017. Organised by Automobile Association of Ceylon, the Exotic Cars Motor Parade 2017 was initiated as a project to showcase the variety of vintage and sports cars, with over 100 cars taking part. The event was endorsed by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) and many tour operators in Sri Lanka, who facilitated the event through their own campaigns, such as Aitken Spence Travels, for example, to attract a wide audience, both local and foreign. The Exotic Cars Motor Parade 2017 was an entrancing sight and a new experience for the younger generation who were able to view vintage cars from private collections.
