The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau in collaboration with the Sri Lankan Embassy in Stockholm, took part in “Tourest – 2017”, the Estonian Travel Fair which was held on the 10th, 11th and 12th February. This is the first time Sri Lanka has participated in this travel fair, as well as conducted tourism promotions in the Baltic region. The Sri Lanka tourism stand was decorated with visuals of varying in experiences which the island has to offer travellers. Eye catching images included captivating places such as the Taprobana, Wadduwa Sri Lanka, for example, which offers fun Wadduwa excursions that let travellers experience the island in different ways. Informational brochures were handed over to the enthusiastic visitors at the stand to educate them on Sri Lanka, and prompt them to visit the country.
