Qatar Airways, one of the largest airlines in the United Arab Emirates flew all the way to Doha from Auckland providing a whole new experience to both the travellers and the crew. Crossing almost ten time zones, passengers spent over 17 hours over 14.500km with 259 passengers aboard. The aircraft, a Boeing 777-200 LR can accommodate 42 seats in business class and 217 in economy class. The capital city of Qatar attracts thousands of travellers yearly; Kiwi’s included, seeking luxury getaways at some of the best villas in Doha, such as the Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara for example. It’s notable that Qatar owns nine of these aircrafts which are powered by some the largest engines in the airline industry.
