Government’s Development Programs to Develop Sri Lanka – Lanka in an effort to develop the local infrastructure

Sri Lanka – considered as the ”pearl of the Indian Ocean” has seen a high growth in economy and infrastructure since the end of the civil conflict in 2009. With the change of the regime, the current administration has initiated a number of projects across the length and breadth of the country whilst gaining international recognition. It’s clearly evident that the current administration is taking steps to restore the faith the public have bestowed on them. According to a few confirmed sources, it’s said that the consensual government is planning to give away 10,000 title deeds to low and middle income farming communities with the hope of strengthening their day to day income and stability within the year 2017 and as a part of that initiative nearly 3000 recipients were granted deeds by the head of the state recently. The beneficiaries of the first batch were from the southern part of the country and included Tangalle and Weeraketiya. However it’s notable that the Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort one of the many a Tangalle hotel has to offer, has significantly contributed towards the country’s development programs with staggering record of visitors.
