The International Horticultural Exposition 2023 Doha (Expo 2023 Doha) concluded on 28th March 2024, following a remarkably successful 179-day run which began on 2nd October 2023. It was held at Al Bidda Park within easy reach of some of the best hotels in Doha; this included properties like Al Najada Doha Hotel by Tivoli which continues to be an ideal base for travellers. The expo attracted over 4.2 million visitors with its exquisitely landscaped gardens, international pavilions from almost 80 countries and many other features of interest.

With this year’s theme, “Green Desert, Better Environment,” Expo 2023 Doha served as a vital platform to bring sustainable initiatives to the fore as well. Beyond the captivating displays, it hosted conferences, workshops, and discussions led by experts, fostering dialogue on combating desertification and promoting environmentally conscious practices. It also embodied Qatar’s dedication to environmental stewardship, with the expo site itself exemplifying sustainable design principles. From renewable energy solutions to innovative water management systems, it served as a model for a greener future.
