Feast of San Clemente

Bringing much fervor and joy to Angono town fiesta, Feast of San Clemente also known as the Higantes is celebrated on the 23rd of November. A must-witness event when staying at Manila serviced apartments at Citadines Salcedo Makati during this period, it is held in honor of San Clemente, whose image is usually carried during a procession by male devotees. The procession will also include devotees donned in colorful traditional costumes and as fishermen. There will also be paper mache images referred to as “higantes” which is a highlight of the festival. With various such vibrant elements, the festival greatly reflects the region’s unique culture.
