Globetrotters that travel in search of paradise to luxury resorts in Sri Lanka are in for a treat this December. Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) together with other institutions that function under the guidance of the Ministry of Tourism and Aviation will be hosting a ‘Christmas Fest’ amidst the chilly breezes of December. Therefore, residents of accommodations by popular chains such as Heritance Hotels will be able to partake in the country’s festive celebrations, aimed to promote tourism in Sri Lanka.
This funfest had been a major hit for the past three years, as tourists flock in numbers to Sri Lanka during December to escape the winter weather in their home nations. The event will be held from 21st to 23rd December 2022, featuring food, shopping and entertainment to keep visitors in the spirit of the season, enveloped in the warmth of the island.
