The FIFA World Cup 2018 brought about some drastic changes to the ranks of the teams this World Cup season! France took the arena by storm as they faced off in a fierce kick-off battle with Croatia and took home the cup with a win of 4-2. As the excitement in Russia, the host country begins to decline, it wells up in the next venue-to-be which is the land of Qatar in the middle east.

The Russian President, The Emir of Qatar and the FIFA President took part in a ceremony where the official ball for the knock out rounds was passed on to Qatar marking it as the next venue for the FIFA World Cup in 2022. Qatar has initiated their work on the FIFA project to prepare the country with necessary facilities. Hotels in Doha Qatar will be set up and the existing hotels such as Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels are brushing up on their amenities hoping to accommodate fans who will be visiting Qatar for the World Cup in 2022.
